Victoria Beckham opens up about the emotional toll media scrutiny has taken on her children

 The Beckhams have reportedly "extended an olive branch" to Brooklyn amid a family feud in Oxfordshire.

Sir David Beckham and his wife, the former Spice Girl Lady Victoria Beckham, have lived in the Cotswolds for several years.

Sharing a mansion in the countryside, the couple have embraced the rural life with Sir David keeping animals such as chickens.

Yet the Daily Mail has been reporting for months that the family have been "torn apart" due to issues with their son, Brooklyn.

He and his wife, Nicola Peltz, have allegedly fallen out with the rest of the clan, according to national reports, and did not attend Sir David's 50th birthday celebrations earlier this year.

Now, several national reports claim that an "olive branch" has been offered to Brooklyn amid the ongoing drama.

The 26-year-old aspiring chef shared a video with fans on his Instagram this week, showing him preparing a Beef Wellington.

Tuesday's social media clip highlighted the step-by-step process and garnered a positive reaction from his followers.

Among those to comment was none other than Jackie Adams, Lady Victoria's mother and Brooklyn's grandmother, who said: "That looks amazing, Brooklyn. Lots of love."

This comes after both of his parents reached out on social media last week and liked his recent Instagram post, which involved Brooklyn making buttermilk pancakes.

Speaking on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Lady Beckham added: "I mean, we're such a close family and, you know, communication is key and we always let them know that anything that they want to talk about, you know, this is a safe forum.

"You know, that's really important," she said, adding that kids still had to "go on their journeys themselves".

Lady Beckham continued: "We've always been that way with the kids. And I'm excited for them, they're all very different. They all like to do different things."
